Typographic Self Portraitby ~wilhelmdesign

I did this for my Typography 1 class using Adobe Illustrator. I wanted to do a self portrait using words that describe who I am as a person to form the image of my face. I decided to split it down the middle using positive characteristics on the left and my more negative characteristics on the right. I repeated song lyrics on the background to form a sort of texture to the piece. This is one of my more personal works and one that I'm very much attached to. As I'm always trying to improve my craft any critique or comments are more than welcome

Congratulations, this is the first portrait I'm using as a part of my own typographic class assignment. Yayyyyyy!

My prof is one of those "new age, hippie typographers," so he'll probably be cool with the distorted letter forms you've used, though Dr. Simmons would probably not be amused.
